Highlight
- Discover scuba diving (DSD) is suitable for beginner who want to try scuba diving for the first time within 1 day
- You will have 1 beach dive with your instructor, the beach dive is the safest and most comfortable dive you will get from any scuba experience. It is perfect for beginners.
- Enjoy underwater in Koh Chang, during the dive you will see plenty of coral reef fish, coral gardens and maybe shark and turtle.
At BB divers we teach diving courses in English, Nederlands, Francais, Deutsch, Thai, Chinese,... and have the learning materials (Padi online manuals and video) in more languages including Russian, Swedish, Danish, Finish, Norwegian, Spanish, Italian. The course prices include, lunch, drinks, snacks and fruit, pick up from hotel, use of dive equipment, the Padi e-manuals or aps and the Padi certificate.
Our classrooms are at Bang Bao pier and Cliff Cottage. The confined water sessions are taught in the swimming pool at Cliff Cottage or from the beach. For diving we go out with one of our boats, some trainings dives will be run of the beach.
What to expect for DSD: Discover Scuba Diving beach dive 1 day in Koh Chang - 1 dived 'The experience' for non-divers who want to give diving a try, there is no previous diving experience required. First we give you an introduction to diving and safety, followed by a few exercises in shallow water. Then we guide you for 1 dive from the beach to a shallow coral reef. DSD is a great introduction to the beauty of the coral reef.
At all times the guide will be close to you to assist in case there is help needed. Beach dive will have a different experience than boat dive. It gives a calmer experience as you walk or swim slowly from the shallow to the deeper section and submerge into the underwater.
The water will be calm and clear, which gives a good condition for scuba divers. One down side is the marine life would not be as much as the boat dive.
