OUR MISSION

Giant Stride aims to provide a seamless user experience for both scuba divers and service providers. We want to create a sustainable ecosystem that creates value for scuba divers, service providers, and our platform.

OUR STORY

No comprehensive database of service providers – Most scuba diving service providers are small business owners and have their own webpage scattered on the internet. It is time consuming to find all of them and compare
Outdated and inaccurate information of dive sites – On one of trip, we only saw sand and rocks, which was totally different from the advertisement and information we found
Limited Payment Option – Some of service provider only accept cash or wire transfer and does not offer credit/ debit card option As such, they had an idea to develop a platform – Giant Stride – to solve these pain points.

WHAT WE DO

Giant Stride is a scuba diving specialized platform that connects scuba divers and service providers in order to arrange scuba diving trips. We aggregate scuba diving service providers in one place, provide essential diving information of different places, and offer various payment methods.

WHY WE DO

We want to enhance and create a more efficient way of trip booking in this ecosystem. The scuba divers will have more options of trips and service providers, reliable and accurate information, less time spent in booking trips and more convenient payment methods. While, the service providers, especially small businesses, will have an opportunity to expose to new customers and make better service.

OUR FOUNDERS

Sorrasek (Benz) Phiboonthammasak

Co-founder & CEO

Benz has a background in marketing analytic consultancy with a global marketing research company. He later joined and led a successful marketing team at a top fin tech company in Thailand. As a passionate scuba diver who dives around the world, Benz saw the pain point in the scuba diving industry. He wants to utilize his entrepreneurial experience and marketing knowledge to make scuba diving journeys easy for everyone.

Jaruda Suppakarnpanich

Co-founder & COO

Jaruda has a background in management consulting and investment banking where she worked with various International and Thailand’s leading companies. She developed business strategies and provided financial advice to clients. She then began her entrepreneurial experience by co-founding the first fitness chain in an industrial estate residential area in Thailand. With all knowledge and passion regarding business aspects that she has developed up to today, she wishes to continue her entrepreneurial journey with Giant Stride to deliver the finest solution in order to further improve the customer journey for scuba diving.

Poom Songsripipat

Co-founder

Poom has a background in investment banking working cross-functionally with customers ranging from a finance working team to C-level executives of prominent corporates in Thailand. Currently, he is working as a Product Manager at one of the largest tech companies in the world, focusing on process improvement and automation. With his experience, he is excited to bring insights and expertise to develop Giant Stride, where he envisioned the company to bring a new frontier to the scuba diving industry.
