PADI Discover Scuba Diving (1 day / 2 dives)
Discovering Scuba Diving or DSD will give you the excitement and the adventure of the underwater world. You will experience the weightless floating and swimming and breathing underwater. You will glide through above the coral reef and observe the coral reef fish in their habitat. All this feeling you can experience by scuba diving.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program is not a scuba diving course, but it introduces you to the magical world of diving. You will get to try a dive with an experienced PADI instructor and explore the fabulous reefs and fascinating marine life. The groups are small (2 students per instructor) which allows for more time diving and exploring.
What to expect during this Discover Scuba Diving trip
- Divers will be pick up in the hotel early in the morning
- Check in and try on scuba equipment.
- Enjoy the boat ride and basic scuba diving instruction.
- Get into the water and practice your scuba diving skill
- Enjoy you first dive with close supervision from dive instructor
- Lunch and snack will be provided during your break
- Boat move to second location for your second dive
- After second dive, the dive center will bring to back to shore and drop you off at your hotel
Discover Scuba Diving in Ao Nang Islands & Marine Life
The dive sites around Ao Nang, Krabi are home to some of the best and most varied macro-life you can find in Thailand. Even though they are relatively close to the Phi Phi Islands, they are very different. There are several species of Seahorse, Pipe Fish and many Nudibranchs. Also you may see Mantis Shrimps, Coral Whip Gobie’s, Razor Fish, Porcelain Crabs and Durban Dancing Shrimp to name a few.
It’s not only the macro-life you’ll love at these dive sites. Your Kon-Tiki Divemaster will also try and find Bamboo sharks, as they can be spotted sometimes.
