What you will learn in this PADI Open Water Koh Samui Course
This Open Water Diver course consists of:
- 5 knowledge development sessions in which you will learn theoretical concepts about the diving activity and planning.
- 5 confined water sessions (swimming pool) where you will learn and master the different necessary skills you need to know before diving in open waters.
- 4 open water dives. We will teach you how to feel safe under water by practicing what you learned and mastered during the confined water sessions which will allow you to dive in a safe and comfortable way. The open water diving will be done at Koh Tao or Sail Rock
Once you have completed this course you will receive a certification card with which you can dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters for Open Water Diver and Junior Open Water Diver between 12-14 years old. 12 meters for Junior Open Water Diver between 10-11 years old.
The eLearning PADI Open Water Diver will provide video format on smartphone/tablet-based learning devices. You can learn anywhere, and save your theory day for more holiday.
With E-learning, you will have to take the following action
- Learn diving facts, principles and safety concepts in preparation for your confined and open water dives.
- Watch video clips that show you the world of scuba diving.
- Take simple quizzes to make sure you understand the material as you progress.
- After you download eLearning you don’t need to be online to use it so you can truly learn anytime, anywhere.
