In this PADI Open Water Course in Koh Tao, we will teach you all the skills and knowledge that you need to dive safely with a dive buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Here at FIFTY SIX DIVE, we believe in quality, not quantity. We limit our group sizes to 4 students per instructor. The course includes interactive classroom sessions, practice in shallow water (swimming pool practice), and 4 ocean dives.

What you will learn in this PADI Open Water Koh Tao Course 
KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT
We will teach the basic knowledge and theory by using PADI Training materials. The lessons are divided into 2 small sections. So you can be engaged and not feel overwhelmed. At the end of the class, you will have to take quizzes and a final review to make sure you understand the lessons.

SWIMMING POOL PRACTICE
This is where you will take your first breath underwater. This swimming pool session will help you get comfortable underwater before going to the ocean in the next part. We keep group sizes small to make sure everyone has enough time to practice.

OCEAN DIVES
You will perform 4 ocean dives in 2 days. The first two dives have a maximum depth of 12 meters (36 feet). And the other 2 dives at a depth of 18 meters (60 feet). You will have to show the skills you learned in shallow water sessions. Afterwards you will be certified as PADI Open Water Diver.
