After working in the industry for multiple years, learning about the different diving styles, dive sites in the area and honing their skills not only in Thailand but worldwide, three men that initially met on Koh Chang decided it was time to start their own dive shop. Thai Ocean Academy Koh Chang was born in the midst of the pandemic, but the vision for its owners was clear: provide outstanding service as well as equipment and go above and beyond what’s required by the standards.

We also work closely with ATMEC, Environmental Justice Foundation and Love Wildlife, which are Thai NGOs that are working on monitoring and clearing marine debris from the ocean. Together we educate on reef ecology and how to survey reefs to monitor their health status.
