Highlight

  • King Cruiser Wreck - one of the greatest popular diving sites in Phuket and the Andaman Sea
  • Marine lives such as yellow barracuda tail and scorpionfish
  • Minimum Requirement: PADI Advanced Open Water/ CMAS 2
King Cruiser Wreck is one of the greatest popular diving sites in Phuket and the Andaman Sea. It is an old ferry for cars and passengers 85 meters long and 25 meters wide. King Cruiser Ferry sank in 1997 after colliding with coral anemones. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Debris is now located in 33 meters of water on a sandy bottom. Reserved for divers PADI Open Water Advanced or CMAS 2, The wreck is still in very good condition but the breakout is no longer safe. The marine life is great about King Cruiser with many yellow barracuda tail, but coral hasn't grown much yet. There are also many scorpionfish, so be careful when you dive around it. Currents can be strong at times and vision is not always good. This dive site can be crowded during the high season. It is conceivable to dive there from Phuket or from Koh Phi Phi and Ko Lanta for a one-day trip. This day trip is available on every Wednesday and Friday
