Kon Bon and Koh Tachai are Manta Ray cleaning stations as they have underwater rock boulders that serve as cleaning stations for large marine animals.
At Koh Tachai, divers will see a giant colorful sea fan that grows on rock formations. It will give diver a unique perspective like diving in a coral forest.

North of the Similan Islands, the distinct underwater rock structures at Koh Bon and Koh Tachai act as cleaning stations for Manta Rays. These sites are frequented by these graceful creatures, providing divers with excellent opportunities to observe them. With less boat traffic, nature is still thriving in that area. If you are lucky enough you might check Manta Ray and Whale Shark out of your bucket list during this trip. Even if you do not meet with them, the dive site still has plenty to offer from soft colorful coral, reef fish, turtle and reef shark. You will travel with MV Orca 2, which will bring you to the dive site in no time. The boat will include facilities like individual water bottles, soft drinks and lunch.
